This year's Vice Chancellors' Conference was themed "Paradigm Shift in Higher Education-Hackathon Planning for Future". It was jointly organized by PHEC, HEC, UE Lahore, and Kohsar University Murree. The honorable Chancellor/Governor Punjab, Engr. Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman, was the Chief Guest.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Javaid Akhtar's participation was noteworthy. He was presented with a souvenir and best wishes from the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony.
