VISION

The vision of this office is to recognize the University of Sahiwal as leading research institution of Pakistan. Further, this office is aiming to provide the technical solutions to solve the social and economic problems of Pakistan.

MISSION

The ORIC is aiming to accomplish vision by:

• Identifying research opportunities for faculty members
• Facilitating faculty members to apply for research grants
• Providing legal, administrative and financial management support of research grants
• Supporting commercialization, licensing etc, of the university research products
• Promoting of the research culture
• Providing technical support for publishing in HEC recognized /impact factor journals
• Becoming focal point for all the research related works in connection with funds/liaison with the funding agencies
• Registering patent
• Identifying new ways and opportunities of collaborations in fields of Biological, Social, Medical & Natural Sciences
• Creating awareness regarding the ongoing research in the University of Sahiwal and also encouraging University-Industry linkages
• Establishing new Research Centers , Centre of Excellence & Institutes in UOSL
