Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar Organized by Department of Applied Psychology

Under the leadership of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan, the Department of Applied Psychology, University of Sahiwal, organized an awareness seminar on Breast Cancer for students and faculty members. Dr. Waleeja Shamikha, the guest speaker, conducted the session and provided valuable information about breast cancer, including its basic understanding, common symptoms, risk factors, preventive measures, and the importance of timely awareness and care. Students participated actively and showed keen interest by asking questions and engaging in meaningful discussion.
Dr. Saira Irfan, Chairperson, Department of Applied Psychology, encouraged students to take the awareness messages seriously and adopt responsible health practices. She also expressed her gratitude to the guest speaker for sharing valuable knowledge with the university community. The Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan appreciated the Department of Applied Psychology for organizing the informative seminar. At the conclusion of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan presented a shield to the guest speaker as a token of appreciation. In a gesture of respect and acknowledgment, Dr. Saira Irfan presented a shield to the Worthy Vice Chancellor as the Guest of Honour. The faculty and students of the Department of Applied Psychology expressed their gratitude to the Worthy Vice Chancellor for gracing the event with his presence and personally participating in the seminar.
