Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan Visits Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal

he Worthy Vice Chancellor, University of Sahiwal, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan, paid a courtesy visit to the office of Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal, Captain (Retd.) Samiullah Farooq. The Deputy Commissioner warmly welcomed the Vice Chancellor and congratulated him on his appointment, assuring his full cooperation and support for the University of Sahiwal.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan discussed key administrative and infrastructural matters, particularly the sewerage system and the need for WASA services at the University. The Deputy Commissioner assured the Vice Chancellor that necessary coordination would be extended to facilitate WASA services and address sewerage and sanitation-related issues. The Vice Chancellor also shared his vision and practical plans for the development, academic advancement, and institutional growth of the University of Sahiwal. Both sides discussed strengthening institutional collaboration, particularly regarding the beautification, cleanliness, and improvement of the areas surrounding the University.
The meeting reflected a shared commitment to promoting a clean, well-developed, and conducive environment around the University of Sahiwal. At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retd.) Samiullah Farooq presented a souvenir of Sahiwal to the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan, as a gesture of goodwill and hospitality.

During his first day, the Worthy Vice Chancellor interacted positively with the administrative heads and engaged in constructive discussions regarding the University’s academic and administrative affairs. His encouraging interaction and forward-looking approach provided a positive sense of direction and motivation to the University community. The University of Sahiwal extends its warmest welcome to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan and looks forward to a productive and progressive tenure under his leadership.

Notification of Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2026

University of Sahiwal has announced Eid-ul-Azha holidays from Monday, 25 May 2026 to Thursday, 28 May 2026, according to an official notification issued by the Office of the Registrar on 21 May 2026. The notification states that all academic and administrative activities at the university will remain suspended during this period.

یونیورسٹی آف ساہیوال کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جاوید اختر نے کہا ہے کہ ہمارا پختہ یقین ہے کہ کسی بھی جامعہ میں عالمی معیار کی تعلیم کی بنیاد باہمی احترام اور پیشہ ورانہ طرزِ عمل پر ہوتی ہے۔ انہوں نے جامعہ کے تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز بشمول اساتذہ، افسران و ملازمین اور طلبہ و طالبات کے لیے ایک خصوصی پیغام میں کہا ہے کہ جامعہ کے تعلیمی ماحول کے اعلیٰ معیار کو برقرار رکھنے کے لیے پیشہ ورانہ رویہ اولین ترجیح ہونا چاہیے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ تمام معاملات بالخصوص نوجوان طلبہ و طالبات کے ساتھ گفتگو اور برتاؤ میں شائستگی، تحمل اور احترام کو یقینی بنایا جائے۔ کسی بھی قسم کی تلخ بحث یا تکرار سے گریز کیا جائے۔ اگر کسی مسئلے یا اختلافِ رائے کی صورت حال پیدا ہو تو اسے مناسب ادارہ جاتی ذرائع کے ذریعے پُرسکون اور ذمہ دارانہ انداز میں حل کیا جائے۔ سب کی عزت اور وقار کا تحفظ اولین ترجیح ہونا چاہیے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ جامعہ میں محفوظ اور مثبت تعلیمی ماحول انکی ترجیح ہے، اسلئے تمام متعلقہ فریقین کی عزتِ نفس اور فلاح و بہبود کا خیال رکھنا ہماری مشترکہ ذمہ داری ہے۔ انہوں نے زور دیا کہ ہم سب کو مل کر ناصرف جامعہ ساہیوال کو علمی ہم آہنگی اور اعلیٰ اخلاق کی حامل مثالی تعلیمی مثالی درسگاہ بنانا ہے بلکہ معاشرے کی تعمیر و ترقی میں اپنا کردار بھی ادا کرنا ہے۔

Have domicile from any district of the Punjab
Not be older than 22 years of age on closing date
Family monthly income should be less than Rs 300,000 (Affidavit Required)

The Applicant must be enrolled in selected Disciplines in the Selected Universities / Colleges in 2nd-8th semester. The enrolled MBBS and BDS students in 2nd/3rd year will also be eligible for this scholarship program.

Minimum FSc./Intermediate marks:
i) Medical Colleges > 80%
ii) Top Universities > 80%
iii) Public Sector Universities > 70% for Sciences and > 65% for Arts and Social Sciences
iv) HED Colleges > 65% for Sciences and > 60% for Arts and Social Sciences
