University of Sahiwal Development Project: Commencement of construction work, Vice Chancellor laid the foundation stone of Jama Masjid.

A grand ceremony was held to lay the foundation stone of the mosque in the University of Sahiwal. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Javed Akhtar laid the foundation stone of the construction work. Project Director Dr. Amin Abid, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Khan, Additional Registrar Syed Ghulam Ali Asghar, Dr. Shafiq Hussain, Dr. Abdul Hameed, Dr. Shahira Amin, Dr. Muhammad Ayub, Dr. Hafiz Tariq Masood, and Dr. Ikram Ahmed were also present on this occasion. This construction work is part of the development grant of Rs 1100 million received by the Higher Education Commission, in the first phase of which the Jama Masjid, Admin Block, and Main Gate are being constructed.
